In order to receive certification, you must pass two tests—an introductory level exam and an intermediate level exam. If you pass the exams, your information will be confirmed by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and a certificate will be sent to you by U.S. mail quarterly. It’s important to note that only SBA affiliated small business counselors will receive a certificate.
